Pocatello counting down days til’ Spring
The majority of the people you talk to around the community just can’t wait for the snow to see its last for the season. Regarding Friday night’s rain and snow mix, it’s having residents shaking their heads saying, “that’s just the weather in Idaho.
“I can’t wait for it to stop snowing. I have flowers to grow. I like to garden vegetables and flowers. I rather be hot than cold,” said Jeff Jones, as he scraped snow off his car.
It’s a new ice scraper he had bought from Lowes. He says this terrible winter weather had broken the original ice scraper he had.
“It should start warming up a little by next month. It’s great for farming and such, but people hate driving in it.”
Unlike Jones, Jose Guerra, Manager of the Pro Clean Car Wash says this kind of weather is good business for him and his company.
“If it’s a lot of snow or rain, not a lot of people come in until it stops. But then, especially when it stops, and they put salt on the roads or during the slush, we get ALOT of people coming in for a car wash,” said Guerra.
Guerra doesn’t mind the snow since he’s from McCall he says. But he does prefer warmer weather during work, so he can be more comfortabe outside washing cars. But generally outside of work, he hopes next winter is a good one with snow.
