Idaho Democratic Party announces changes to Presidential Delegate Selction plan

Tuesday the Idaho Democratic Party announced changes to its Presidential Delegate Selection plan.

The Idaho Democratic Party has been awarded three bonus delegates by the DNC, bringing the delegate total to 27. In addition, the county caucus time has been changed to 7 p.m. on March 22, 2016.

To help voters get ready for the caucus the Idaho Democratic Party will be hosting education workshops to inform the general public about how to be involved in the Idaho Democratic Party County Caucus process, which is the first step to being elected as a national delegate.

Three How to Caucus Webinars will be held to educate caucus attendees on the details of attending local county caucuses to vote for their presidential nominee and how to run to be a state and national convention delegate.

All sessions will be identical. The first will be on Thursday February 11 at 7 p.m. The Second will be on Thursday February 18 at 7 p.m. The final webinar will be on Thursday March 10 at 9 a.m.

Those interested will need to register prior to the webinar session here.

Throughout the delegate selection process key dates, relevant forms and a copy of the full plan can be found here.
