Original story: Rigby police are investigating vandalism at several businesses along Farnsworth Way in Rigby. Teton Board Sports, Grub Slingers, Teased Salon, Payday Loans and Down to Earth Floral had broken windows, while Tadd Jenkins Chevrolet had damaged windshields and hoods on several vehicles, and four vehicles on Dove Avenue were damaged.

“There was a bunch of doors that had been broken in and windows that were broken with rocks,” said Jeremiah Bigelow. “Somebody threw rocks through the windows.”

John Adams, general manager of Tadd Jenkins Chevrolet, received the call from Rigby police early Sunday morning. He said, “I’m shocked. I’ve only been here for two years and I’ve never had an issue like this. You don’t hear something like this happening in the community. It’s going to be very devastating on the community.”

Police say five trucks and two SUVs are damaged. The damage is an estimated loss of at least $10,000.

Surveillance video shows two people in a red sedan entering the Tadd Jenkins lot.

“One guy got out of the car and walked to the very south end of the lot and walked their way up Farnsworth way and you can actually see where they picked up rocks and just chucked them at our vehicles,” said Adams.

Tadd Jenkins Chevrolet posted to its Facebook that a reward is being offered for anyone who provides information about the culprits. Find that post, here.

“I think we know who it is,” said Bigelow. “We have surveillance from the gas station and Teton Board Sports. So we have a picture of the guy.”
