Teacher Appreciation Week underway

Students across eastern Idaho are celebrating their teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week.

“I love her and I don’t want to leave this class,” Alyssa Anderson, a student at Falls Valley Elementary, said.”She’s amazing. She’s awesome. I would die without her.”

“She really cares about us,” said Ella Memmott, another Falls Valley student. “Like when we get hurt, or we get our feelings hurt. And she helps us during class if we get confused.”

Students said that’s what makes them feel comfortable in the classroom.

“They help me learn a lot,” Nicholas Sorensen said about his teacher at Ammon Elementary. “It’s in a funny environment, so I feel more calm in there.”
