Idaho Gives Day

Thursday is the fourth annual Idaho Gives Day, a statewide event to recognize and donate to your favorite nonprofits.

Many charitable organizations are rallying for donations and hosting events all across the state. Habitat for Humanity in Idaho Falls started a big community service project to promote “A Brush With Kindness.”

Idaho Gives Day is a great source of funding for nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity. They enjoy being out and about to inform people about this day of giving.

“Until midnight tonight, if you donate $10 to Habitat for Humanity, we have matching funds, your $10 will turn automatically into $20. So it’s a way for us to double down on everything and get our word out there and get people excited,” said Karen Lansing, director of Habitat for Humanity.
