Portneuf River Visioning holds open house

Last winter Pocatello residents were able to share their opinions on what they wanted for the Portneuf River. As of now, 600 surveys have been completed plus presentations and comments have been contributed. Residents will be able to pick their two favorite shot and long-term projects for the river.

An Open House will be held Tuesday from 4p.m. to 7p.m. in the multipurpose room at the Pocatello Community Charter School, on 995 South Arthur Ave. Residents will be able to choose from 43 potential project for the river. It will be between the Gap and the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.

If you’d like to share your favorite short and long-term projects online, visit: river.pocatello.us/comment. Comments will be taken until June.

The final project for the river will be presented later this year.
