Pocatello man arrested for kidnapping Blackfoot woman

Pocatello Police have arrested a man Sunday for kidnapping a woman and stealing a vehicle.

According to police reports, 43-year-old Gary Prentice Henson, Jr., forced a Blackfoot woman into his vehicle and drove her to Pocatello Sunday. Pocatello Police became involved after the two started fighting when they reached Pocatello.

As police investigated the situation they discovered that the vehicle Henson was driving had been stolen from Wyoming. Henson also had multiple warrants out for his arrest.

Henson is being charged with grand theft and second-degree kidnapping no ransom.
