Albertson’s celebrates new look in Rexburg

Albertsons grocery store in Rexburg celebrated their re-grand opening Wednesday after being under construction for months.

A new Pharmacy was added to the store, expanded thei organic items and an express line was built.

The ribbon was cut by Rexburg Mayor Jerry Merril and store employees.

Store Manager Kevin Stevens said the store has really come together.

“We’ve opened up the store for customers, we encourage people to come check it out,” Stevens said.

Steven’s also said the company stands by education. Albertson’s presented Madison High School a check for $1,000, Sugar-Salem High School $500 and the Rexburg Crisis Center $500.

“Education is important, and the Rexburg Crisis Center helps a lot of people who are in need,” Steven’s said.
