Man arrested for felony DUI

A man who passed out in a car at the intersection of First Street and Holmes Avenue was arrested at around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday on felony charges of driving under the influence.

Idaho Falls Police said Edward A. Aguilar, 56, was stopped in the intersection in a 1987 Plymouth Reliant. The car was still running and blocking one lane of eastbound traffic.

After officers woke up Augilar, they determined he was under the influence of alcohol. He was also arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Aguilar has two prior DUI convictions.
