Healing the hearts of the Anderson and Summer’s children

The Annie Foundation hosted a fundraiser on Saturday to assist the Anderson and Summer’s children who lost their parents in a plane crash in March. The fundraiser was called “Healing hearts”.

Ball Ventures, Klim, and Snake River Landing teamed up as sponsors for this family fun event. Families enjoyed the beautiful weather and came out to show community support.

“The parents didn’t have a will so we’re just trying to gather as much money as we can to help out the kids,” said Annie Foundation volunteer Melissa Chipman. “The community’s really rallied for these kids. We did a little logo of the healing hearts of all the kids names inside of it, the number seven for seven kids. It just shows that they have support within the community, they’re not alone,” added event coordinator Allison Branan.

100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Anderson and Summer’s children.
