Car accident on I-15 injures several people
Update 6/5/16 8:08 p.m.: Both of I-15’s southbound lanes are open near milepost 80.
Original Story: Several people are on their way to the hospital after a car accident on southbound I-15, near milepost 80, just south of Fort Hall.
Idaho State Police is investigating the accident and said over the phone that they believe a total of three people were involved in the accident.
As a result of the accident, the left lane of southbound I-15 south of Fort Hall is closed until crews can investigate and clean up the accident.
Drivers are asked to use caution, slow down, and to avoid getting distracted while driving past the area.
