New drink shop opens in Pocatello

There’s a new business in Pocatello.

It’s called Sips-N-Sweet Treats and it’s located inside the Kiwi Loco on Yellowstone Avenue.

Sips hasn’t had an official grand opening yet, but it has been up and running for a couple of weeks.

It offers a variety of flavored sodas and drinks. Drinks include both Coca-Cola and Pepsi products. There are also smoothies and energy drink combos.

One of the store’s biggest specialties is its made-from-scratch sugar cookies. There are also other homemade treats on the menu.

The owner, Tonia Jardine, said so far business has been pretty good. She said they’re still trying to get the word out about who they are and what they do. She wants people to understand what they offer.

“People still come and they’ll just be like ‘Oh, i want a Pepsi or i want a Coke’ and we’ll be like ‘Well, can we put a shot of flavor in it for you? Or something like that,'” Jardine said. “So I think people still need to kind of learn what it’s all about, because once they try it, then you’re hooked. Then you fall in love with it.”

This is the second Sips location in Idaho. The other is in Twin Falls.

The shop is open Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more information about Sips, visit their Facebook page.
