Man believed to be dead after falling into hot pool

Yellowstone National Park officials believe a 20-year-old man to be dead after he fell into a hot spring at Norris Geyser Basin.

Park Rangers say a witness reported the man walked off the boardwalk and fell into the hot spring about 225 yards off the boardwalk, his body has not been found at this time.

Park rangers investigating the incident are using extreme caution as there are a lot of hazard in the thermal area.

Norris Geyser Basin is currently closed.
