Bonneville County Commissioners name Penny Manning County Clerk

UPDATE:
Bonneville County Commissioners have selected Penny Manning to serve the remainder of Ron Longmore’s term as County Clerk. Longmore’s last day on the job will be July 29th. Manning will take over the post on August 1st.

Longmore,69, stepped down from the post to be near family in Utah.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Bonneville County Commissioners will interview three candidates selected by the county’s republican central committee to replace County Clerk Ron Longmore Monday morning. They are expected to name their selection by Monday afternoon.

The three candidates include Penny Manning, Mike Armstrong, and Tony Potts.

Longmore announced last month that he was retiring from the post after over 30 years of service for personal reasons. The person selected will fill the remainder of Longmore’s current term.
