Salmon man killed in pickup accident

A Salmon man was killed while driving his vintage pickup about 10 miles north of Carmen.

Idaho State Police said Gary L. Davis, 68, was driving a 1934 Ford pickup pulling a homemade camp trailer. He was heading south onU.S. Highway 93.

At about milepost 119,Davis’ pickup went off the right shoulder, over-corrected, crossing the highway and went off the left shoulder and rolled. Davis died from his injuries.

The pickup was not equipped with seatbelts, police said.

The accident happened Monday at about 12:09 p.m.
