Families of boys involved in assault of 5-year-old served eviction notice

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KIVI)– A Twin Falls apartment complex has confirmed to 6 On Your Side that they are evicting the families of three boys involved in the alleged sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl.

Twin Falls Police has confirmed that three boys, age 14,10, and 7, assaulted a 5-year-old girl at the Fawnbrook Apartments, while the 7-year-old is the only one to have made physical contact with the child.

You can find the full eviction notice letter from Fawnbrook Apartments in this letter.

During a city council meeting Monday to address concerns from the community regarding the incident, the topic quickly turned to the controversial subject of refugees.

While the boys involved in the attack have not been confirmed as refugees or Muslims, many said that this problem could have been prevented if we didn’t allow those seeking asylum into Idaho.

Two boys are currently being held in a detention center where a judge will be in charge of deciding what will happen next.
