Rigby man arrested for warrants, drug possession

Idaho Falls Police arrested 31-year-old Joshua M. Gentle for a Bonneville County Sheriff’s warrant, an Idaho Department of Corrections warrant and felony possession of methamphetamine Tuesday night.

Gentle, of Rigby, was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers responded to the 2400 block of Yellowstone Highway for a warrant service around 7:30 p.m. Officers had been told Gentle, who had a felony warrant, was located at this motel. No contact was made.

Around 11:45 p.m., officers returned to the location and made contact with 23-year-old Miranda King and 30-year-old Aaron S. Hochstrasser. Both denied Gentle being at the location. Officers did a search of the room and found Gentle hiding in a closet.

King was arrested for harboring a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hochstrasser was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer.
