Phil Meador Subaru donates $10K to charity

On Thursday evening, Phil Meador Subaru in Pocatello donated $10K to My Brother’s Table, a local charity in town.

After three months of donating two hundred and fifty dollars from customers who chose the charity, the money was finally accumulated to $10K and donated in full.

My Brother’s Table is a charity that provides free hot meals to the less fortunate every Sunday at the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish. The money was used to help the charity stay fully operational in the community.

“From us, they were expecting about $1,300 so for them, it was a real big deal to get $10K. They were hoping to buy a new freezer, now they’ll buy a new freezer and a lot more. And for us to help out and give back, and not so much us, it’s from customers buying new Subarus, just means a big deal,” said Jason Meador, General Manager, Phil Meador Subaru.

Meador says this event will take place next year to help out another local charity.

And that wasn’t all the dealership celebrated on Thursday. The car company also brought the community together for complimentary dinner and drinks to celebrate their newly remodeled building on Yellowstone Avenue.
