Car care tips for summer travel

Cars need to beat the heat too, and with temperatures climbing up well into the 90’s motorist need to be prepared when they hit the roads this Independence Day.

According to AAA they expect to rescue more than 370,000 motorists during the Fourth of July holiday. The primary reasons being: dead batteries, lockouts, and flat tires.

AAA recommends motorists check their battery conditions and tire pressure before heading out on a road trip.

Most batteries are checked during the Fall and winter seasons, however, summer extreme heat can also reduce battery life.
