Highway Worker: “Please, slow down and be cautious!”

An accident in a Highway 20 construction zone, sent three people to the hospital near St. Anthony Thursday evening.

According to a construction worker Taylor Roe, A red pickup truck drifted into the lane where they were working and struck a work pickup truck, pushing it into the median.

Exact Injuries are still unknown, but the worker who sent these accident photos to Local News 8 says, two of his co-wokers were sent to the hospital and are expected to recover. There is no word on the condition of the driver in the red tuck.

Roe says, “Please, slow down and be cautious!…This year has been especially bad when it comes traffic not slowing down, causing windows to break and now two friends in the hospital. Please when you come to a work zone Slow Down! We have friends, family, and loved ones that we would like to make it home to every night. I understand you are in a hurry to get to your destination but please slow down. Even if you want to swear, honk, or flip us the bird, you are welcome to as long as you slow down. We are just trying to do our job as safe as possible.”

Idaho State Police are investigating.
