Man still in critical condition after fire

A Pocatello man injured in a boat fire last month is still in a Utah hospital. Tyvan Schmitt was airlifted to Salt Lake City after the fire happened at the Phillips 66 gas station in Pocatello.

His step daughter Erika Garza from Draper, UT, itells us he is still in a coma and in critical condition.A Go-Fund-Me account for Schmitt has been started by a family friend.

“It means a lot, the help we’re receiving right now. Because it’s an expensive trip to run up here and find housing and things like that. My family is very grateful. My Mom is very thankful to live in such a supportive community,” said Garza.
