Idaho gas prices 8th highest in nation

Gas prices in Idaho are stable, but higher than in most states, according to a report released Tuesday by AAA Idaho.

The state’s pump prices are within a penny or two of where they’ve been all summer.

Idaho motorists are paying an average of $2.47 for regulargrade gasoline. The price makes Idaho the eighth highest-priced state in the country, and 24 cents more than the national mark. But Idaho’s average pump price is 59 cents lower than last year.

Drivers on the West Coast continue to pay the most for gas in the nation. Idaho and neighbors, California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada have among the highest prices in the U.S.
