Gunshots reported in Idaho Falls fight
Gun shots were fired during a fight involving a large group of juveniles in Idaho Falls Thursday night. Police said there was no evidence anyone was shot at or hit by gunfire.
Idaho Falls Police were first called to a large group of juveniles talking about guns and preparing to fight in the 700 block of Whittier at 10:08 p.m. Thursday. By the time police arrived the group had disappeared.
A second call at 11:24 p.m. alerted police that a large group of juveniles were armed with weapons and fighting near the intersection of Fanning and Whittier. Police found shell casings at the scene, but no indication that anyone was struck.
No one had been arrested by Friday morning, but investigation was continuing.
