Pocatello police captain to retire this month

Captain Terry Felsman will retire from the force this month after more than 41 years with the Pocatello Police Department.

Felsman began his career in Pocatello in 1974 after graduating from the ISU Law Enforcement program. He graduated from the 237th FBI National Academy in 2009 and spent the past eight years as Captain of the Investigation Division.

. “I’m proud of the homicide cases we have cleared recently to include the Red Elk and Nori Jones cases,”‘ said Felsman. “This is a rewarding and honorable profession. I’m proud of the cases I have solved and the job I have done.”

The public is invited to a celebration of Captain Felsman’s career, with a pot-luck luncheon on Tuesday, July 19th, at 11:30 a.m. in the Pocatello City Council Chambers.
