Idaho Falls Man Dies in Early Morning Accident

Update 7/16/16 8:32 p.m.: Idaho State Police misidentified the man killed in an accident along I-15 near Blackfoot Saturday morning.

The real name of the man who died is 20-year-old Wyatt Wells. Wells’ family has been notified of his death.

Original Story: An Idaho Falls man died in an accident along I-15 near Blackfoot, early Saturday morning.

The Idaho State Police say “On July 16 , 2016 at approximately 6:01 a.m., a single vehicle fatality crash occurred on southbound Interstate 15 at milepost 95 near Blackfoot.

A 1996 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Adam Wise, 32, of Idaho Falls, was southbound when he went off the right shoulder. The vehicle struck the guardrail and continued for a short time off the right shoulder and struck the overpass abutment and came to rest. Wise was not wearing a seat belt and succumbed to his injuries on scene.”
