Several people hurt in crash near Arco

Two people were transported by medical helicopters after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20/26, just east of Arco city limits at 1:18 p.m. Sunday.

The Butte County Sheriff’s office said one vehicle attempted to turn left into a business. An approaching vehicle struck the first, then both came to rest off the highway.

Lost Rivers Ambulance transported several patients to Lost Rivers Medical Center.

One patient was flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for treatment. Another patient was transported to EIRMC from Lost Rivers later in the day.

The names of the victims were not released and their medical condition was not known. However, the sheriff’s office said no one sustained life-threatening injuries.
