Public input wanted on groundwater management

The Idaho Department of Water Resources wants input on a proposed groundwater management plan.

Ten public meetings are scheduled to give informational presentations and gather public input on the proposed formation for the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer.

Below is the schedule and locations for the public meetings:

Monday, Mud Lake, at 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., West Jefferson High School Auditorium, 1260 East 1500 North, Terreton.

Tuesday, Rexburg from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., America Inn Lodge & Suites, 1098 Golden Beauty Dr. and in Blackfoot, 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Blackfoot Senior Center, 20 E. Pacific. Pocatello, 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Best Western, 1415 Bench Road.

Wednesday, Downey, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Marsh Valley Senior Center, 21 South Main Street. Malta, 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Raft River High School Auditorium, 55 1st West. Burley, 7 p.m to 9 p.m., Best Western/Burley Inn & Convention Center, 800 North Overland Road.

Thursday, Jerome, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Jerome Middle School, 520 10th Avenue West.
