One woman dies in single vehicle crash near Aberdeen

An Aberdeen woman was killed in a single vehicle crash on Highway 39 south of Aberdeen late Tuesday evening.

According to Idaho State Police Chad M. Lesch, 27, of Jerome, was driving south on State Highway 39 in a 2004 Hyundai Accent when he lost control of the car and it rolled off the right side of the road.

Neither Lesch, nor his passenger, 31-year-old Kristy L. Lesch of Aberdeen, were wearing seatbelts, and were both ejected from the vehicle. Both of them were taken in a ground ambulance to Power County Hospital District in American Falls.

ISP says Kristy Lesch latersuccumbed to her injuries.Next of kin has been notified.

ISP is still investigating the crash.
