Idaho Falls man arrested for dragging a woman with a truck

An Idaho Falls man was arrested early Thursday morning after witnesses reported that he dragged a woman down a driveway with a truck.

The Idaho Falls Police arrested 34-year-old Aaron D. Keeler Thursday and now he faces a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. Keeler was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to police reports, officers responded to a call in the area of 16th and Fife around 5:30 p.m Wednesday. The 33-year-old female victim and a witness stated Keeler pushed her out of the passenger side of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado. The woman was then dragged down the driveway by the truck as Keeler backed it up and left.

Keeler was located and arrested in the 200 block of East 24th Street just after midnight.

Editor’s note: This story has been corrected. The original press release from Idaho Falls Police listed Keeler’s age as 64 not the correct 34.
