UPDATE: Four injured in crash on I-15

Update 7/29/2016 8:50 p.m: Idaho State Police say three people were injured when a truck pulling a trailer and a car collided.

According to ISP,Layne Harker, 64, of Pingree, ID was driving northbound in a Chevrolet Silverado pickup pulling a trailer in the right lane when he encountered traffic congestion. Harker abruptly changed lanes and collided with Diego Gonzalez, 21, of Blackfoot, ID, who was driving northbound in the left lane of travel in a Ford Focus. Harker was able to pull off into the median, while Gonzalez’s vehicle came to rest in the left lane of travel.

Gonzalez and his three passengers were transported to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello by ground ambulance. All occupants of both vehicles were wearing their seatbelts.

The left lane of travel was blocked for approximately one and a half hours.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Update 7/29/2016 4:35 pm: Idaho State Police say they are now investigating multiple crashes on northbound I-15 near Blackfoot. There is a crash at both milepost 93 and 95.

The crashes are at least partially blocking traffic on I-15. More information on the accidents will be added when ISP releases it.
