New wildfire burning near Craters of the Moon
Fire crews are working to contain a wildfire near Craters of the Moon in Butte County, Thursday.
Lynn Ballard with theEastern Idaho Interagency Fire Center says, TheMoon Fireis located approximately 3 miles north of the Craters of the Moon. The fire is currently estimated at 15 acres. There are four engines, 2 dozers and a water tender assigned.
Viewers sent in these photos of the fire, that broke out, late Thursday afternoon.
Ballard says the fire is human caused, however there is no word on an exact cause.
