UPDATE: Mother of children found
Update 3:20 p.m.: Police confirm the mother of the children has located and no further public assistance is needed.
Original Story: Pocatello Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying two children found playing in the road.
The two children were found playing in the road at North 4th Avenue and East Lewis Street. Police said the children are approximately two to four years of age, and they weren’t able to find their parents or guardians in the area.
The police said the children don’t know where they live and are staying at the police department for the time being. If you have any information you can call the police at 208-234-6100 ext. 1.
