Fire road closures are being lifted

The Bonnevillle County Sheriff’s Office is lifting most of the road closures initiated when the Henry’s Creek fire began.

A burn ban remains in effect throughout Bonneville County.

Closures on Bone Road, Kepps Crossing, Fall Creek Road, and Blacktail Roads have been lifted

Blacktail Park is now open and the Ririe Dam Juniper Campground and Boat ramp will be opened by Thursday morning.

A closure on the Meadow Creek Road leading to the Ririe Dam will remain closed while fire crews demobilize. It should be open by Thursday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office is cautioning drivers to be drive slowly and give emergency vehicles the right of way.

Most of the area affected by the fire is private property and those who don’t respect it risk potential criminal charges.
