Power back on in Chubbuck/Pocatello; Still out in Am. Falls/Aberdeen area

Idaho Power Company reports a power has been restored following an outage affecting about 3,520 customers in the Pocatello and Chubbuck area. Electricity went off at about 4:18 p.m. Thursday. We’re not sure when it exactly came back on, but was around 5 p.m.

Another outage is affecting about 160 customers (down from the 444 reported earlier) in the Aberdeen, American Falls and Sterling area. A number of irrigation pumps are also impacted. The outage began at 3:32 p.m.

The cause of that outage has not been determined. There is no time estimate on when power might be restored.
