Teton County Court enters not guilty plea for Erik Ohlson

The man accused of killing a Driggs woman this summer had the Teton County Court enter a not guilty plea for him Friday morning.

Erik Ohlson is facing two felony counts of murder for killing Jennifer Nalley and her unborn child in Driggs in July. When asked for his plea, he exercised his right to remain silent. Therefore, the court entered a not guilty plea on his behalf for both first degree murder charges.

Ohlson could face a minimum of 20 years to life in prison, and a $100,000 fine. The prosecutors will still be pursuing the death penalty.

The court is expecting a three-week jury trial, which is set to start January 9th at 10 a.m.

Ohlson’s bond amount is left as is, and he is being held at Madison County Jail.
