Pocatello man charged with drug trafficking
A Pocatello man was arrested Saturday with a large amount of methamphetamine after a routine traffic stop near Pocatello. Brandon Jeffrey Allan,37, was arrested on drug trafficking charges
According to police, a Bannock County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by Allan.
A Pocatello Police K-9 unit responded to assist. The search dog sniffed out 478.6 grams of meth, a meth pipe, scale, needles, and morphine pills in Allan’s car.
A search warrant for his Pocatello residence recovered an additional 275.4 grams of meth, scales, paraphernalia, and methadone.
Investigation is continuing.
