Authorities are investigating the death of a 26-year-old Dixie State University student who was found unresponsive in a bathroom stall on campus.
The school said in a statement Wednesday that there are no indications of foul play in the death of Jessica Reynolds but an autopsy will be performed.
The freshman student was found Tuesday night by a university employee. Campus police performed CPR on Reynolds for 25 minutes before she was pronounced dead.
Dixie State says there are no indications of foul play but an autopsy will be performed.
Campus security director Don Reid told The Spectrum of St. George that an employee reported seeing the bathroom stall locked around 3:30 p.m. and checked again around 8 p.m. and found the woman’s body.
Reid says he can’t speculate on the cause of death.
