Five traffic signals will be removed in Idaho Falls

The city of Idaho Falls is hoping to improve traffic flow.

The City Council approved the removal of five traffic signals around town.

Those signals are at Broadway and Lindsay, Broadway and Shoup, Yellowstone and A, Yellowstone and B, and 17th and June.

The next step is for all of the different agencies working on this to get together and finalize the plan. City engineer Kent Fugal said the signals should be removed over the next month or two.
