Man arrested for ‘Dine and Dash’

Idaho Falls Police have arrested a man who has ‘dined and dashed’ from several restaurants in the Idaho Falls Area.

35-year-old Davide E. Stadler was arrested for burglary after leaving several restaurants without paying. Stadler was also cited for petty theft.

According to reports, officers responded to the Sandpiper Restaurant, 750 Lindsay Bouleavard, around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday for a man that is known to ‘dine and dash’. Restaurant management had been notified by another restaurant manager that Stadler had been in his restaurant the day before skipped out on his bill after ordering food and drinks.

Sandpiper employees confronted Stadler about paying his bill. Stadler did not have any money to pay his bill.

Police were told Stadler had eaten at several Idaho Falls restaurants and left without paying in the past few days.
