As forecasted our storm system has moved into the Intermountain West and headed our way for Thursday and Friday. Expect much cooler temps and periods of rain throughout this time. Plan on lots of rain for the week’s end and snow above 8000 feet. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for the SE Highlands, and Western Wyoming mountains, until 6 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Thursday, overcast skies with rain and heavy downpours possible. Cooler with highs staying steady into the 50’s. Chance of rain 100%. Many areas picking up nearly an 1″+ of rain.

Tonight, rain with some thunderstorms possible. Cloudy skies with temps steady into the 40’s. Snow levels dropping to around 8000 feet. Chance of rain 100%.

Friday, cloudy, with highs near 50° for the Snake River Plain. More rain and scattered showers likely. Snow levels down to 7500 feet early in the morning. Chance of rain is 100%.
