$100,000 worth of meth found in Blackfoot man’s home

Blackfoot police have arrested a man for having a street value of over $100,000 dollars worth of meth in his possession.

Police said they were serving a warrant Friday afternoon to Brian Kyle Deroche, 36, at his home when they found him in a vehicle.

Police found at total 2.8 pounds of methamphetamine in the vehicle and Deroche’s home. They also found a firearm.

He is currently being held in the Bingham County Jail. Deroche is charged with possession with the intent to deliver, trafficking in methamphetamine, and convicted Felon in possession of a firearm.

Additional charges could be determined by the Bingham County’s Prosecutor’s office.
