Pocatello man arrested for battery and aggravated assault

A Pocatello man was arrested shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday after hitting another man in the face.

Pocatello Police said Jeffrey David Hill, 47, was driving his car in the 900 block of N. 7th Avenue near Pocatello High School. According to reports, Hill was upset with how long it was taking students to cross the street in front of him.

They said he got angry and crashed his vehicle into a parked car. The owner of the car was standing by it. Hill then got out of his car and hit the other car owner in the face.

Hill was arrested on charges of battery and aggravated assault.
