Water line break floods streets in Pocatello

Update 1:50 pm: Work is now beginning to fix the broken water main under Maple Street in Pocatello.

The City of Pocatello posted the following on their Facebook page:

Update 1:20 pm: The water flooding out of a water line under Maple Street has been shut off. Pocatello City Utility teams are now assessing the damage.

Original story: A bad water line break is flooding roads at Maple Street and Yellowstone Avenue.

Pocatello Police are in the area helping direct traffic. The city is aware of the issue and is working to get the water shut off in order to assess the damage.
