One killed, another hurt in Sand Dunes accident

A 76-year-old Melba man died after an ATV accident at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes Saturday afternoon.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says it got a call just after 12:30 about an ATV side by side rollover accident. In a press release, the sheriff’s office says the driver, Ronald Cassidy, 76, and his passenger, David Bradshaw, 51, both of Melba, were in a Polaris Ranger on Devils Dune when they went over the top and lost control. The Ranger rolled all the way to the bottom of the dune.

Casside was pronounced dead at the scene. Bradshaw was taken to EIRMC by LifeFlight with non-life threatening injuries.
