Auto tech company relocating to Pocatello

Pocatello is getting a new auto tech company. Bully Dog is a brand of Derive Systems, which specializes in automotive technology and software devices.

Bully Dog is relocating its Idaho location from American Falls to Pocatello. It will be housed in the Kinport building on S. 1st Ave. It will take the place of what is currently The Bridge Restaurant. The Bridge will be moving to its new location in the old Yellowstone Hotel in November.

Bully Dog offers software and performance tuning devices to improve horsepower, torque and overall performance of cars.

It will bring 50 jobs, and employees living in American Falls can still commute to continuing working for the company. The CEO, David Thawley, said the new location offers better amenities for the company. He said it will also help improve the economy and attract more talent to the company.

Bully Dog hopes to be up and running in its new location in January.
