Two Pocatello women arrested during drug investigation

Pocatello Police arrested two women Tuesday during a drug investigation.

27-year-old Sunny Ochoa was arrested at around 9:44 p.m. Tuesday.

According to reports, police and Bannock County Sheriff’s Detectives executed a search warrant at 835 S 5th Avenue and one of the occupied rooms rented by Ochoa.

Officers found one gram of methamphetamine,8.3 grams of heroin and a pistol.

Police said the arrest was part of an ongoing investigation.

While serving the search warrant, police recognized another woman, who had active, but unrelated warrants for her arrest.

Police followed Hollie Sunday Fransen, 30, to the parking lot. Fransen attempted to run away, but was quickly apprehended. According to police, Fransen had an unknown amount of heroin in her possession.

She was arrested on four outstanding warrants and for possession of a controlled substance.
