Detailed Forecast for Oct. 10, 2016

An approaching cold front will be the big story as we enter into the work week. Strong gusty winds and increasing cloud cover will be the greatest impact. Much cooler temps can be expected mid-week as we clear out before a very wet pattern sets up this weekend.

Monday – sunshine to start with increasing clouds thru the afternoon. Highs will be on the mild side with temps into the 60’s and 70’s. Windy conditions can be expected with southerly winds from 20-35mph. Slight chance of a shower in Central Idaho.

Tonight – mostly cloudy skies with a few showers. Breezy winds from the southwest at 10-25mph. Lows into the 40’s and 50’s.Chance of rain 30%.

Tuesday – starting off cloudy and then clearing out behind the cold front. Highs much cooler into the 50’s and 60’s. Showers possible, especially during the first chunk of the day. Chance of rain 40%. Winds from the south and west at 10-25mph.

Wednesday – Very cold temps to wake up to before sunshine warms us up to near 60°. North wind from 10-20mph can be expected.
