Klein Investigations moves DeOrr Kunz, Jr investigation to cold case status

In a post on their Facebook page today Klein Investigations and Consulting announced that they were moving the DeOrr Kunz, Jr. case from active case status to cold case status. They stat that this means they no longer have any credible leads to move forward with.

The change to cold case status does not mean that Klein Investigations and Consulting is leaving the case. In the letter posted to their Facebook page, they state that this means they will begin reviewing the case from the beginning. They plan to review all the evidence and testimony that has been gathered and ensure that nothing was missed.

Klein Investigations and Consulting also reaffirmed their belief that Vernal Kunz, Jessica Mitchell Anderson, and Robert Walton are suspects in DeOrr’s disappearance. The investigation firm pleaded with the alleged suspects to “stop making stories up and stop misleading Law Enforcement and our firm.

Klein Investigations and Consulting was originally hired by the family and members of the community to help find DeOrr in November of 2015. The family fired Klein’s firm in March after he made claims that they were responsible for the boy’s disappearance.
