Child Abuse Suspected in Cause of Toddler’s Death
Police in Roy believe a 22-month-old child’s death is a homicide caused by abuse.
Authorities say no arrests have been made in the girl’s death but she had multiple injuries consistent with child abuse.
Police say emergency responders were called to a home Wednesday morning and located the girl.
She was rushed to a hospital but then airlifted to one in Salt Lake City.
She was pronounced dead the next day.
Police are not releasing the child’s name or the names of possible suspects.
They would not say if the child’s parents were home at the time she was found.
