A strong trough is pumping in a great deal of moisture for the beginning of our work week. Expect windy and wet conditions for the next couple days until a strong ridge of high pressure finally returns across the West giving us dry and sunny conditions by the end of the week and the upcoming weekend.

Monday, rain and snow likely especially for the first chunk of the day. Snow levels down to 6000 feet at times. Several inches of fresh powder is expected into the mountains. Windy as well with south winds from 20-40 mph. Highs into the 40’s and low 50’s. Chance of precip 90%.

Tonight, mostly cloudy skies with some showers possible. Staying breezy with southwest winds from 15-30mph. Lows into the low to mid 30’s. Chance of precip 30%.

Tuesday, mostly cloudy skies with some scattered showers. Breezy southwest winds from 15-30mph. Chilly temps with highs staying steady into the 40’s. Chance of precip 50%.

Wednesday, beginning to dry out with partly sunny skies and only a few showers especially into the high country. Highs will be into the 40’s and 50’s. Chance of precip 30%.
